"Over a month ago I had arranged to have my mother moved from a terrible facility to her home. She required gurney transportation due to a recent spinal surgery; however, the morning of, her initial transport was cancelled due to Covid. I had just flown in from Texas and did not have any additional family or friends who could assist. I contacted every company within hi and low desert to no avail and resided that my only option was to carefully place my mother in my rental vehicle. Even so, I knew I would still need help lifting and moving her. In that moment, I received a return call from another transportation company who was not available but connected me with Jon. (Avalon was not yet listed on Yelp and; therefore, did not populate in my search results.) Jon drove nearly 2 hours up to the hi-desert to help us. A few of the nursing staff that had been nice during my mother's stay helped get her into the vehicle and instructed us on how to best maneuver her. Jon followed us to my mother's and was so careful in assisting removing her from the vehicle and getting her into her home which included a small flight of steps. He offered to help with anything else we might need, yet even after telling him no, he still stayed and helped me get the swamp cooler on. (We don't have those in Texas and I was completely unfamiliar with them.) He didn't leave until he knew we were okay. I had just pulled my mother out of a dire situation and the kindness he showed us will never be forgotten. I didn't know how little time I had left with my mom and we had experienced so many rude and terrible people these past few months. I'm so grateful for the compassion Jon showed us, and notably my mother. Granted the circumstances were unique, it goes without saying Jon is an amazing person who goes above and beyond for his clients while delivering first class service. Should I come to town again and require transportation for myself, he is the first one I will call. Of Note: Due to how low to the ground my rental car was, that's what we used in transporting my mother but I did see the inside of his vehicle and I can attest to how immaculate and comfortable it looked."
